Daily activities each week
There is one field trip every week. The camp will be structured with outdoor and indoor games and activities. This includes Ninja Obstacle Course and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, Nerf Gun battle, bounce castle, spray water park, picnic, popcorn movie and field trip day.

Competition Camp 2024
The BVJJ Competition Camp is structured to help bring your Jiu-Jitsu skills to a whole new level, physically, mentally and technically.
In these 2 weeks a lot will be covered in a complete training camp.
Dates:
July: 15-19
August: 12-16
Drop-off: 9am
Pick up: 3pm
Extended time pick up: 5:30pm, added cost of $25/day
Curriculum:
– Competition strategy: theory and practice, learning how to develop personalized strategy
– Pre competition mental preparation
– Wrestling drills and takedowns for BJJ
– Basic and advanced BJJ techniques – Competition and technique video analysis
– Ruleset applied in different organizations
– Strength & Conditioning circuits
– Flexibility and mobility sessions
Daily sparing sessions
Gi and NoGi sessions
Professionals:
Eduardo Cadena – Brazilian Jiu-jitsu 5th degree Black Belt with over 30 years of experience, including competing in major events and teaching in Brazil, Canada and USA. In addition, Eduardo also graduated in Kinesiology at Langara College. Sensei Eddy started competing in 1991 and did it for many years in every colour belt. Several times Rio de Janeiro State Champion and São Paulo State Champion, Pan-American Champion, two times Pan-American Bronze, Brazilian National Champion, World Championship veteran for several years, IBJJF Opens medalist several times, South American Silver medalist, etc.
Nick Ugoalah – Canadian champion and Commonwealth Games gold medal wrestler. He is a peak performance coach and trainer who works with elite fighters and athletes to achieve their personal and professional goals through optimal physical, technical and mental preparation. Nick specializes in wrestling for mixed martial arts and BJJ, mindset for high performance, and strength and conditioning. Nick’s many athletic achievements include: • His standing as a 6 time National wrestling Champion • 2 time Olympic Trials Champion • Commonwealth Games gold medalist • 2 time Pan American medalist • Nick is also in the Brock University Athletic Hall of Fame • Inducted into the Wrestling Canada National Hall of Fame • Head Coach University of British Columbia Wrestling Team As a coach, Nick has produced and worked with world champions in the Mixed Martial Arts, BJJ, and Combat Sports, as well as Olympians and Commonwealth Games gold medalist in wrestling (in addition to being a Commonwealth Games gold medalist).
