Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, started training in 1991 under Totila Jordan Pitoco, founder of Infight Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ( Continued his training under Rogerio Poggio, leader of Infight Jiu-Jitsu in Rio de Janeiro. In 2001 earned his black belt, holding today the rank of 5 th degree, certified and rocognized by the most prestigious organizations in the sport, the International Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) and Confederação Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJ). Eddy is the head instructor at BVJJ and the leader of the Infight Canada ( team and affiliates.

Eddy holds a Pan-American Title, Brazilian National Title, and medalist in several other international tournaments such ar South American, International Opens, Pan-American, and so on.

He is also graduated in the Kinesiology Diploma at Langara College. This is a great qualification to ensure that classes and programs under his supervision are appropriate to age and skill level.
